We realise that many entrepreneurs do not have time to delve into the secrets of programming (and this is not a bad thing!). Especially for them we have prepared a description of 7 key aspects that one needs to pay attention to when creating a good website. Remember that a badly prepared website will not provide you with profits, on the contrary - it will only be an unnecessary cost.
If you read this text, you belong to 15% of users of our website. On average, we have 5 seconds to make a good impression. After this time, the potential customer will decide if your business is noteworthy. If you make a positive impression on him from the very beginning, the chances of conversion will increase. We wrote about what conversions are in section 2.
Let's start with what conversion is. This is the expected action taken by the potential customer. This is best to be understood on the example. A potential customer goes to the website and completes the form, sends a request for pricing, calls the company or uses live chat. Each of these activities is a conversion. The task of the website creator is to prepare a project that maximises the number of conversions. Below is an example of such an action:
In 2020, on average 79% of internet traffic came from mobile devices. If a website does not display correctly on mobile devices, its owner loses many potential customers who will probably choose to use a competitive offer. Remember that the website should be tested by its creator on all the latest mobile devices (and not only). Its display is influenced by, among others, device size, browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Opera, IE) and operating system (iOS, Android, Windows).
It is not possible to appear on the first page on Google without optimising the website. How does it work? Indexing robots collect content from websites and save them in a database. Then the collected information is analysed according to an algorithm created by Google specialists. At the moment, the greatest impact on positions has, among others, the amount of unique content and the frequency of their update on the website (the more often the better). A very important element of SEO is placing selected keywords in appropriate headings on a website - h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6. For example, the phrase we are interested in is "web design", so in the h2 heading we place the text:
Remember that local positioning (e.g. web design London) is much simpler due to less competition. In the case of popular services, the appearance in TOP 10 in England is difficult and time consuming but still possible. The second important element to look out for are links to your website. They may come from other websites or from your website. An example is the following redirect to the offer of creating online shops (preferably if linked pages are thematically related):
Website traffic can come from many sources. Depending on the specifics of the industry, you can use only selected ones. At your disposal are: natural search engine results (SEO and positioning), paid search engine links (Google Ads - formerly AdWords), banner ads on other websites (Google Ads), ads on YouTube (Google Ads), entries to the page on the recommendation (word of mouth, your clients' facebook, business cards), access to the page from social media (your company profiles).
Most of the users visiting the websites are briefly familiar with their content. Confirmation of this thesis can be found, for example, in Google Analytics and many other "tracking" tools. Based on them, we are able to accurately determine, among others sources of visits, duration of visits on individual tabs of the website, number of conversions, geolocation of visitors. Analysis of user behaviour is the basis for improving a website. Do you think numbers are not enough? For exceptionally demanding customers, we are able to prepare a script that preserves video recordings of the users browser window on the website.
Many programmers are not aware of the importance of the server on which the website or web application is located. Depending on the type of project, we pay attention to the security and effectivity of components. However, to understand this aspect well, you need specialist knowledge of SysOps and DevOps, which you do not need to have. Universal aspects that are worth paying attention to are the amount of disk space, the frequency of creating independent backup copies of files and the database (preferably if such a copy is created daily), the cost of restoring the backup of files and the database (preferably if it is 0 GBP).
The variety of website designs is huge. Therefore, we can specify the approximate price and lead time after discussing your expectations. Fill out the website pricing form - we will contact you within 1 business day.

By definition, we pronounce it in accordance with English phonetics, which is simply [sɒptʃiː] (this is a very simplified phonetic notation!). You can pronounce it in any way you want.
